Trinity was founded in 1950 as the Columbia Evangelical United Brethren Church. Then in 1968, as the Methodist Church merged with the Evangelical United Brethren, we became the Trinity United Methodist Church. Now today we are Trinity Church. Our purpose is to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. And then to help others experience Him and connect to Him. Everyone is invited and welcome to worship Jesus and grow in a personal relationship with Him. At Trinity, our desire is to share the love of Christ through word and deed with all those around us. We want to offer the heart of Christ to the hearts of Columbia.
To know Jesus and make Him known
To make disciples of Jesus, grow together in faith, and serve the world with compassion.
We offer two worship services on Sunday. On Sundays, the first service at 9:00 AM is a contemporary service focused in participatory worship, a Biblical message and practical application of God's Word.
The second service is at 10:30 AM which is a traditional service with hymns, gospel songs, a Biblical message and the practical application of the God's Word.
Nursery care is available for children newborn to 3 years old in the new Children's Center. Children's Church is offered during the 9:00 A.M. service for ages 4-10 (leader: Rachel Byrd).
We are located at 2418 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY right across from Betty's O.K. Country Cooking Restaurant.
If you walk through the doors of the church, you won't be met with shame, guilt or condemnation. It is not important how you're dressed or what candidate you voted for. The church is made up of genuine people who care who you are as a person.
