Bro. Steve Pescosolido

Brother Steve has joyfully served as Senior Pastor at Trinity since July 2010. A graduate of the College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, Massachusetts) with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, and later of Asbury Theological Seminary (Wilmore, Kentucky) with a Master of Divinity, he brings both a thoughtful mind and a shepherd’s heart to his ministry.

He is deeply passionate about helping the Church encounter God through prayer, worship, discipleship, and service. Brother Steve believes the presence of Jesus is not only life-changing but also life-giving, and he desires for everyone at Trinity to experience that transforming love of Christ in a real and personal way.

 Wes Irvin

 Wes Irvin has been faithfully serving as Trinity’s Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries since March 2008. Before joining us, he poured into the youth at his home church, Bearwallow UMC, from 2001 to 2008. Wes holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from Lindsey Wilson College, as well as a Master’s degree and Rank One Certification.

With a heart for the next generation, Wes creates a welcoming space where kids and teens can grow in their faith and build lasting friendships. Each Wednesday night, he leads youth and children’s gatherings, and he also plans special outings that bring fun, connection, and spiritual growth together.

Karen Pescosolido

Karen Pescosolido serves as a joyful blessing as our Director of Music Ministries, filling our church with beautiful music and heartfelt worship. With a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Morehead State University and a Master’s degree in Education (Counseling) from Lindsey Wilson College, Karen brings both expertise and warmth to her role. She skillfully directs the music for both our vibrant Contemporary Service and our cherished Traditional Service, weaving together praise and worship songs, timeless hymns, and beloved Gaither music. Each fall, she pours her heart into organizing and directing our children’s Christmas musical program, creating unforgettable moments for our young ones and our entire church family. We’re so grateful for Karen’s talent and welcoming spirit that uplifts us all!

Rachel Byrd

Rachel brings a warm and passionate heart to her role as Assistant Director of Family Ministries, where she pours her energy into nurturing our children’s and preschool ministries. A proud 2012 graduate of Adair County High School, where she thrived in FFA and land judging, and a 2016 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College with a B.S. in Biology, Rachel combines her love for learning with her deep faith. She creates a joyful, welcoming environment for our youngest members to grow in faith and feel loved. We’re thrilled to have her inspiring our families!

Phyllis Burris

Phyllis serves as our Administrative Assistant. With her extensive office experience and deep understanding of church operations from assisting her husband, a former pastor, she keeps everything running smoothly. Phyllis lovingly prepares worship, prayer, and music resources for all our services, organizes sign-ups for our food pantry, and handles countless other tasks with grace and efficiency. She's also a warm presence during our Lunchtime Prayer online meetings, ready to offer phone prayer and support. We’re so grateful for her welcoming spirit and dedication to serving our church!

Verlene Rogers

Verlene faithfully serves as our church's custodian, ensuring our large facility shines with warmth and cleanliness. From the vibrant worship spaces to the welcoming hospitality areas, lively children's rooms, and spacious gym, she pours care into every detail. Her outstanding efforts create a joyful, inviting environment that reflects our love for the Lord and makes everyone feel at home.
